Carson Hedlund, a sophomore at San Jose Pioneer High in California, won the boys rising stars mile in 4:15.47 at the 55th Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High in California. Hedlund eclipsed the rising stars meet record of 4:16.44 achieved in 2019 by former Newbury Park star Colin Sahlman during his freshman season.
